Serving at WBC

There are many ways to serve with WBC both internally - inhouse and externally - out there in the community via our growth groups.

It takes a wonderful in-house effort to bring a Sunday Service together. Present situations vacant on our Sunday Service Teams include: projection, under 5s ministry, Kobe Kare, pack-down and lock-up. Rotation is once every five weeks. Job Descriptions available on the login tab under 'Duties Roster'.

Waiata, Worship & Watercress
A monthly gathering to sing Christ-honouring waiata in te reo Maori. The purpose: improve your reo plus learn a range of waiata to tautoko our peeps at special events.

SAFETY NOTICES

MUMS & BUBS SAFE SPACE
Please help us to keep the blue mat area, rear of the hall, as a safe space for mums & bubs under 2yrs only.
Under 5s: Parent helpers please check outdoor playground equipment is securely in place. Children under 5 years only at the playcenter.

EARTHQUAKE, TSUNAMI, FIRE
In the event of the above the protocol is:
Fire: Follow the exits. Assemble in the car park.
Earthquake: “Turtles” or take cover under seats
Tsunami: “Long and Slow – Up You Go”. Once the quake subsides we head up past room 5, toward the hills - collecting your children enroute.

OTHER SAFETY STUFF

  1. Beware Bee Hives en route to creche.
  2. The gym cupboard is unsafe. No playing inside it.
  3. Keep alert re kids in the car park.
